5. Where and how do you sculpt? (In jeans? Listen to music? Etc.)
I always sculpt at home and always in my studio and 90% of the time on a Saturday or Sunday. I share a studio with my partner Barbara Jackson and it looks out onto the Atlantic Ocean, which, as you can imagine, is very calming and beautiful. I usually sculpt in something very comfortable. I get quite messy and so the clothes I wear are very relaxed. I usually listen to music, pretty much anything goes. I'm not crazy about classical music, but I enjoy all sorts of other music - blues, jazz. Barbara is a music fanatic and makes sure I keep up to date. I try to close the door and not to answer the phone and try not to have too many visitors. Saturday and Sunday are days that I would consider "my days" because the rest of the week everybody can have me, but I am quite possessive about Saturday and Sunday because it is a time when I can really focus and do what I enjoy.
